Isabel Atkin – British & Malaysian
There are two mixed Asian athletes representing Britain in Beijing 2022 and they are sisters Isabel and Zoe Atkin. Their mother Winnie who is Malaysian and father Michael who is British met in Washington, America, while working for the World Bank.
Izzy the big sister competed in PyeongChang and won Bronze medal for Great Britain. Yet in December she broke her pelvis leaving her to withdraw from big air but plans to compete in slopestyle.
Zoe Atkin – British & Malaysian
The same as her sister, Zoe was born and raised in America. They both graduated from the Winter Sports School in Park City, Utah.
Zoe and Izzy Aktin both have American and British citizenship. But father Michael decided that it would be easier for Izzy to represent Britain. The American set up is too big for Isabel who is shy and reserved.
